I am trying to publish a cooking book and I need more recipes ideas. Where can I go to get free recipes ideas?

I am a writer, and I just want to tell you...

Free recipes are free for your use, but they still remain the copyright of the author. If you copy recipes from a free website, it is plagerism. If it is published, you can be sued for copyright infringement.

The only way to avoid this would be to get permission from each person who published the recipe, and to credit them in the cookbook.

Of course, your best bet would probably be to experiment and create your own.I am trying to publish a cooking book and I need more recipes ideas. Where can I go to get free recipes ideas?
you have to put Better Than Sex cake in there, its the best.

prepare a dark choc cake mix as on the box in a 13x9 pan.

Let it cool just for 10 min. using the end of a wooden spoon poke holes everywhere in the cake, into the holes pour a small jar of heated up caramel ice cream topping, a small can of sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated) top with half a bag of crushed Heath candy bars, spread a small container of cool whip on top and top with last half of Heath Bars, put in fridge overnight or 3 hours. FREAKIN DELICIOUS. Keep in fridge.
In order to publish a cook book should you not use your own recipes instead of using recipes from websites...recipes that are other people's ideas.......???? Isn't that cheating??

I am writing my own cookbook at the moment and I am not using websites, only my own recipes.
I agree with the people who say you should come up with your own ideas. Stealing other peoples ideas is plagiarism, and people will respect you more if you figure stuff out yourself. otherwise, you're just a thief who can follow a recipe, not a cook.
how abotu creating and testing your OWN recipes? That's why people pay for a cookbook, to get something they can't get off a 'net search like you're wanting to do.
Why don't you just go through the questions on this board? You will find a lot of recipes. There are over 1300 questions and many of them have recipes.
If you are making a recipee book you should come up with your own ideas.
perhaps if you were a good cook you'd come up with some recipes instead of stealing others xD
go to about.com or videojug.com and search for food recipes there.
allrecipes.com
